About Me
A Film maker with Southern roots and universal imagination.

Nate Edwards is a native Houstonian whose first love is filmmaking. His work can be described as “magical realism” - specializing in short-form content through projects with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Scoot Mcnary, Doja Cat, Tobe Nwigwe, Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, and Mereba along with entities such as the Jimmy Kimmel show, Amazon Music, DoorDash, Google, Hyundai, Honda, Spotify, REI and YouTube. Nate’s work has included productions from travel documentaries to live-action samurai short films and a 2024 Super Bowl ad with Honda. As a genre-bending artist, he finds joy in finding new ways and tools to tell stories. His directorial debut was released on Hulu and Disney + in September 2024, She Taught Love, starring Arsema Thomas, opposite Darrell Britt Gibson and  Taissa Farmiga. The film had critical acclaim winning best independent feature at AAFCA, nominated for best cinematography from NCAA and named top 24 movies of 2024 by the Huffington Post. Nate’s passion for storytelling drives him to constantly explore the edges of cinema and carve space for his own voice within it. He’s excited to continue evolving through both commercial and feature film work.
